Last mobility in Greece

Last week from 29th May to 3rd June our school had the opportunity to host the last transnational meeting for the Erasmus plus project “Big issues in small hands”. A group of 29 people (teachers and students) from Estonia, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Poland visited our school, attended classes ,participated in sports and took part in a school trip to two well known villages, Pyrgi and Mesta.
Apart from the school activities our visitors went sightseeing around the island to see the most beautiful aspects of this place such as our medieval villages and a monastery, some of our beaches and most important had a closer look at the unique product of Chios, mastiha.

Finally, there was a big closing ceremony at school where the whole school community was shown a presentation of the project activities, listened to young children singing and enjoyed a selection of traditional dances from all partner countries presented by children. It was a great experience for all students, parents and teachers to realize how many things we can achieve with collaboration and hard work.
